About

PURPOSE: This course is designed as an overview of the first five books of the New Testament with the goal that each student understands the placement of these books in the Biblical Canon by the discovery of their individuality, while appreciating their unity within the whole of Scripture. While these books portray the life of the Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry, this course will help the student discover the unique purpose, structure, and message to the Church each book contains. OBJECTIVES: This class is designed for each student: To gain an overview of each Gospel and the Acts; To appreciate the unique purpose and design of each book in order to interpret them for daily living; To reveal the wonder of God's eternal purpose in the incarnation of the Son of God; To understand the unity of the message of these books with each other and the rest of Scripture.
