Class Purpose: This course will help you develop a philosophy and strategy for godly living that will guide you throughout your life. The student will be guided through the process of building a biblical worldview using case studies at various levels of doing theology: exegesis and biblical theology, linking from one passage to another in the Scriptures, categorizing all of the biblical data on various themes, validating extra–biblical truth claims, and applying biblical teaching to all of life. Class Objectives: After completing this course, you should be able to: 1. Appreciate the connection between a proper use of the Bible, theology, and worldview thinking 2. Know the five basic levels of theology 3. Defend a Christian worldview from the textbooks and Scripture 4.
